Garment trims are the items for completing your clothing. It means that these functional trims are necessary for a garment during the production process. They make clothing more complete. And we often sew or use velcro to attach the trims on garments. Garment trims include lining, clothing labels & tags, tape, elastic band, buttons, zipper, slider buckles, etc.
Main Labels:
the main label is a type of clothing label by woven, printed, heat transfer or leather way to add the brand logo & name on the fabric. It is used to dis- play brand information.

Woven Main Labels:
We often see the label in the clothing labels industry. They are weaved from fabrics including damasks, satins, taffetas, and cotton. Types of the main woven label include cotton woven labels, selvage & damask woven labels, crochet woven labels, iron-on woven labels. Woven labels are one of the most common labels used in garments trims. Thus, it is ideal for coats, jackets, jeans, woolen coats, etc.
Printed Main Labels:
The materials of the printed label include ribbons, cotton tapes, satin, nylon tapes, polyester taffeta, and canvas tape. Then, they are soft and good for our skin. Printed fabric labels have no limit in color. Thus, they can print different crafts. So, they are perfect for shirts, t-shirts, pants, under- wear, and children’s clothing.
Heat Transfer Main Labels:
People use heat transfer main labels and heat press or iron the logo or design onto the special transfer paper, synthetic film, or plastic film. Then, apply them to the clothing fabrics. Thus, we can also call them tag-less tags. Of course, it is perfect for t-shirts.
Leather Main Labels:
Some leather clothing, coats, and jackets, trousers will use the main label & tag as their main tags. Then, it will highlight the brand and cool styles. And it will also show the taste of some people who are looking for leather fash- ion.

Choosing Your Board Quality:
Board thickness is measured in Microns. 1000 micron =1mm. A thick piece of board may not weigh more than a thinner piece of board at the same size. This is due to the board material type and the process factors used to pro- duce the board.

Metallic Foiling
Create a sophicated look by adding metalic foiing to your Swing Tags. The techniques used are Foil Stamping and Metalic PMS printing. Both tech- niques enhance the look but they are very different processes.
Heat Raised Ink
Heat raised ink also known as Thermography is a process where the ink rises upwards from the paper. The 3D raised ink results in a unique textured effect. This technique can be used for Swing Tags that require embossing. The process involves applying an thermographic powder made from plastic resins. The powder coats the paper and attaches to the wet ink. The excess power is removed during the vacuum stage and then it passes through an oven causing the powder coated elements to melt. The heat process leaves the powder coat looking shiny and with a bubble like effect.
